Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a type of therapy that uses hypnosis. The therapy allows to find and work through the cause of the problem, as well as analyse and insight into the suppressed emotions. Hypnotherapy is considered a very effective tool because changes are made on a subconscious level – meaning they are permanent.

Hypnotherapy is a great support for conventional medicine – it was recognized as the official therapeutic technique in Great Britain in 1951 (The British Medical Association), and in the USA a few years later.

Hypnotherapy - indications

Hypnotherapy is effective in many difficult emotional states as well as mental and psychosomatic ailments. Hypnotherapy can be helpful in depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence, lack of acceptance, phobias, anxiety, excess stress, fear of public speaking, chronic pain, sleep disorders or anorexia.

In addition, hypnotherapy is used to alleviate and eliminate undesirable and unhealthy behaviours and addictions, such as smoking, biting nails, teeth grinding, uncontrolled eating and other obsessive-compulsive disorders.

Hypnosis is a very effective tool for anyone who wants to make a change in their life for the better!

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state in which a person feels relaxed, has a free and expanded imagination, and is very receptive to suggestion (hypnotic suggestion). It is worth noting, however, that it is not possible for a hypnotized person to accept a suggestion that is against their will or is not in line with their values.

Hypnosis is a kind of hypnotic trance – a state that can be compared to a state of increased sensitivity and attention, to daydreaming and losing yourself while reading a book or listening to music.

The person in a hypnotic trance is fully aware, nothing is happening against their will. External stimuli have less access to the hypnotized person so that all attention is focused on the content of the hypnosis session.
